California Pizza Kitchen has opened its first restaurant in Al Ain, providing the community with a variety of California-inspired.

The brand is introducing the concept for the very first time to Al Ain city and this branch will be the sixth in the UAE.

Located in Grand Atrium of Al Ain Mall, the 4400 sqft restaurant has a seating capacity of 170 and aims to transmit an authentic Californian atmosphere. The interior design is rustic and natural with woods and yellow hues to represent California’s sunshine and beaches. Imagery of Californian landmarks and activities combine to create a laidback and relaxing ambience.

The restaurant will serve a selection of dishes such as bbq short-ribs, thai crunch salad and the delicious Cajun jambalaya and for larger groups the shareable avocado club rolls and the trio dippers. Best-sellers chicken piccata, fried mac and cheese and original bbq chicken chopped salad are also on the menu. Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in desserts such as the warm sponge cake and chocolate fondant, available only on UAE menus.

California Pizza Kitchen general manager Lea Sison said in a statement: “We are very excited to open in Al Ain and offer a slice of California in the city.
