Dubai-based hotel apartment Al Bustan Centre and Residence has deployed Pragma Risk International for an audit of the hotel’s safety programmes.

Maintaining the safety of our guests and employees is a top priority. Any successful hotel business ensures that guests will have an enjoyable stay at their premises and will leave without any accidents or injuries. However, as well as guests, the hotelier also has a responsibility to ensure that premises are safe for employees to carry out their duties,” said Al Bustan Centre and Residence chief operating officer Moussa El Hayek.

Conducted under the property's 'Stay Safe' programme to address safety and risk issues within the property, a four-day session was held to communicate the importance of prioritising safety and risk control amongst the employees. The sessions were conducted by Pragma Risk International who reviewed the safety and risk practices implemented by each department and submitted the findings to the senior management.

In future, the audit is intended to provide Al Bustan Centre & Residence with a 360-degree review of the property’s current safety management system covering health and safety, security, leisure safety, fire safety, crisis and business continuity management and food safety.
