Rowe wins Marcom role at Media One Hotel, Dubai

Media One has appointed Caroline Rowe as the hotel's director of marketing and communications.

With over 10 years of global marketing strategy experience, Rowe's aim is to update and grow the Media One brand.

Rowe started her career in Shanghai, China where she worked for luxury dining and art destination Three on the Bund. She was responsible for remapping the existing communications department and developing a strategic public outreach plan that increased omnichannel coverage by 300%.

From Shanghai, Rowe moved to New Delhi, India where she worked as a consultant for Perfect Relations, the biggest public relations firm in India. During her time there, she formulated and built the company's hospitality practice area which included the recruitment and training of a team of communications professionals. In 2011, she was tasked with opening the Indian headquarters of QUO, branding and communications strategists for the travel, tourism and hospitality industry.

In 2013, Rowe moved to Dubai where she had the opportunity to represent the owner in the opening of the Taj Hotel in Business Bay. After the project ended, she worked as an independent strategy consultant and had the chance to lead a number of digital transformation projects both locally and internationally.
