There's just one week left until Dubai's mega-hospitality event that will bring together six events at Dubai International Hospitality Week (DIHW).

The Dubai International Hospitality Week will bring together GulfHost, Yummex Middle East, The Speciality Food Festival and SEAFEX along with The Hotel Show and The Leisure Show.

For the first time in 2017, the annual exhibition will form a core part of a brand-new industry mega-event ‘Dubai International Hospitality Week’.

When asked what makes Dubai the perfect setting for a show like GulfHost? DWTC group director exhibitions Frederique Maurell says, "Dubai is the gateway for both the west and the east to markets such as India, Africa, Asia, Europe, and The Middle East. The region’s hospitality sector continues to accelerate at much faster rates than the global average, and Dubai has firmly established itself as one of the leading tourist destinations in the world. Added to this are global mega-events such as Dubai Expo 2020 which will attract more than 20 million visitors to the region, the exciting, internationally renowned F&B landscape in Dubai, and the central hub role that the city plays for global air travel, it is clear why Dubai is the ideal host city for an event like GulfHost."

"The show also forms the cornerstone of the inaugural Dubai International Hospitality Week (DIHW), presented by Dubai Tourism, that brings together six co-located and complementary industry shows. These include DWTC’s The Speciality Food Festival, SEAFEX and yummex Middle East, which is co-hosted with Kölnmesse GmbH, and two additional shows organised by dmg events – The Hotel Show and The Leisure Show," she adds.

The week is also hoping to bring together more than 2,000 top hospitality brands from across the world to the shows. The full spectrum of products and services required to operate hospitality businesses — whether global hotel chains, fine dining restaurants, quick service outlets, or independent coffee shops — will be showcased between the six complementary shows.

The event will be located at the Dubai World Trade Centre’s selection of three specialised niche food shows: Yummex, the international sweets and snacks show with Koelnmesse; The Speciality Food Show; and Seafex.

GulfHost at Dubai International Hospitality Week is set to take place on September 18-20 in Dubai, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
