Kidz Inc Dubai prioritises children's needs at The Hotel Show 2017

Kidz Inc Dubai is re-focusing its consultancy and design service for children's spaces and prioritising the hospitality and leisure sector, owner and director Charlotte Borghesi revealed during the first day of The Hotel Show 2017 taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre, adding: "This space is really where we can create unique value."

Borghesi, a 20-year consumer marketing and general management veteran and herself a mother of seven children ranging from 17 years to one and a half months, acquired the business three months ago and has wasted no time in assessing opportunities and sharpening its focus on the hospitality and leisure industries.

"The importance of children and children being cared for and being kept happy on holiday is moving up the ranking in terms of importance all the time," she said.

Speaking from firsthand experience, she disclosed that the quality and care of a hotel or resort's children's facilities and programmes is frequently a deciding factor for parents when selecting accommodation during travels with their children.  Borghesi stated that her company can provide an end-to-end solution for hotels and resorts seeking to target more families.

"We do everything through the eyes of the kids," she said."Places can be aesthetically pleasing for adults but not designed for the curiosity, creativity and joy of entertainment for small children." 

Kidz Inc Dubai offers consultancy services for hotel and leisure partners,  providing a full assessment and recommendations for the client's childcare facilities, kids’ club and all services and facilities children-related, everything from food & beverage to recreation. Borghesi said that her company ensures that all facilities and services are compliant with local and international child care regulations. The company offers turnkey design and installation of children's spaces, with Borghesi's team working with a preferred team of architects, designers and teachers and leveraging on the company's expertise in designing and operating nursery schools in the UAE. Kidz Inc Dubai also provides consultancy services in designing educational children's activities and childcare programmes for hotels and resorts, including recruitment and training for qualified staff. Lastly, the company offers a complete graphic design and branding toolkit for hotels and resorts seeking to position and market their children's programmes effectively.

"Our company is really focused on children, that's one thing that really differentiates us from everyone else here. Everything that we do is targeted towards children in the hotel and leisure space," Borghesi asserted.

To better serve clients in the hospitality and leisure sectors, Borghesi added that Kidz Inc Dubai will be opening an office and showroom at a venue next to Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz very soon.

The Hotel Show Dubai 2017 is running at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from September 18-20, 2017 as part of Dubai International Hospitality Week
