Welbilt. Welbilt.

GulfHost marks the first time that Welbilt will be exhibiting in the Middle East as a standalone foodservice company, highlighting the dedication and focus on this region for the business.

Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 18-20, GulfHost will see the regional launch of Welbilt’s NEW Xpress Grill – the latest innovation from its Garland brand. Representing the next generation in two sided cooking, visitors to stand (S1-A10) will be able to experience first-hand the superior design and functionality of the new grill.

Speaking to Caterer Middle East, Welbilt Regional Sales Manager Middle East Leonard Parot said: “We have a lot of exciting new products. The first one is the Garland Xpress Grill. Which is clam shell cooking. That means you cook the food on both sides at the same time. It’s the first time that we’re introducing it here to the region at GulfHost. It’s a fantastic product specially targeted to the quick service restaurants. The idea is that it’s efficient and it’s touch screen-driven versus the previous generation. There’s no language barrier.”

The company is also giving visitors to the show a sneak peek of a global first. Parot revealed: “We also have some previews where we’re not actually launching the product but we have something pre-launch. We have our induction line from Inducs for the first time at any show in the world. We have a unit here that we use in our live cooking.”

Welbilt is also allowing operators to offer customers on-trend beverages with its Multiplex N2Fusion series. Parot explained: “We have nitro coffee which is a nitrogenated coffee. You take a coldbrew and you add nitrogen and that brings you a coffee that’s smoother and richer in taste, and that’s a completely new experience for the customers. We know that coffee is so strong in this region and bringing something new in the coffee area is exciting everybody.”
