Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre is the latest property within the Marriott portfolio to launch the brand's `Le Meriden Hub' - a concept that rolled out at Le Meridien branded hotels worldwide in 2014.

Following an extensive renovation at the hotel, the new concept has seen the transformation of the traditional hotel lobby area, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and contemporary art installations.

Artist Imad Bechara, has created bespoke pieces for the space, the concepts of which were developed by him. Sharing the brand's passion for art, Le Meridien Hub will continue to host frequent art exhibitions displaying work from both international and local artists.

The newly transformed lobby also plays host to the hotel's patisserie Gourmandises Café and signature F&B outlet, Latitude 25, a contemporary café by day and a bar by night, with Illy coffee and daily `sparkling cocktails' in the evening.

During phase two of the renovation, the project will expand to cover over 350 rooms, which are being upgraded in stages to avoid affecting hotel guests. Leisure facilities across the complex are also included in the plan with upgrades already implemented across two of the pool areas and a collaboration confirmed with Optimal Fitness, which will see the introduction of new equipment, therapy offerings and personal training sessions at the Natural Elements Spa and Fitness centre.

The year 2018 will focus on the food and beverage offering at the complex with plans to introduce new concepts as well as expanding those that are existing.

The hotel had relaunched its Yalumba restaurant last year after a comprehensive refit and recently introduced `Events Hub'- a brand encompassing the extensive conference and banqueting facilities including 24 meeting venues and a fully equipped outside catering unit.
