Held in partnership with Pink Caravan, a pan-UAE breast cancer awareness initiative by the Friends of Cancer Patients, the hotel will kick off the activities including a donation-based yoga class.

Hatha and hatha vinyasa yoga expert Isabel Lourenco will lead a class this Saturday, October 14 for one hour starting at 9:30 am. The team at Sofra Bld, will be plating up pink desserts in line with the “Pinktober” theme. The hotel’s Lobby Lounge will also get involved with a themed activity, serving 'Pink Afternoon Tea' daily.

Also as part of the breast cancer awareness month, guests staying at the hotel will have the chance to win a range of prizes on offer, including vouchers from Shangri-La properties around the world as well as Estée Lauder Companies, by donating a minimum of AED 20 ($5.45) via donation vouchers located across the hotel.
