VIDEO: First Look at Flamingo Room by tashas in Dubai

Natasha Sideris fuses a vintage Las Vegas aesthetic with African craftsmanship at the newly-opened Flamingo Room by tashas at Jumeirah Al Naseem.

The largest tashas concept to date features interior architecture by globally-renowned design firm B&S Studio. Elegant swathes of peach and pink, draw inspiration from the fauna and flora of Africa coupled with a subtle nod to the 70s.

Describing the space, Sideris says: “We’re bringing a bit of African glamour to Dubai. I think Africa is hot at the moment and it has been for a couple of years. Anything that’s coming out of Africa that is high design is being celebrated. The traditional view of Africa is drums and African masks and curios but we have a very talented group of people in South Africa and we have a rich culture and a lot of glamourous things coming out of SA.”
