Emaar Hospitality Group has more than 7,500 rooms currently under development in hotel projects across local and international markets.
The company has 10,000 hotel rooms, with over 2,500 already operational across its 11 hotels in Dubai, and 30 upcoming projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, and the Maldives.
The under construction rooms are spread over three hotel brands including the Address Hotels + Resorts, Vida Hotels and Resorts, and Rove Hotels.
Rove Hotels will add 3,700 rooms across its 10 properties, all set to open by 2020, which are designed to welcome international guests for the Expo 2020 Dubai, according to a statement.
Olivier Harnisch, chief executive officer of Emaar Hospitality Group, said: “With over 10,000 rooms and counting, EmaarHospitality Group has underlined its credentials as the region’s fastest growing hospitality provider, delivering three distinctive lifestyle experiences that meet the diverse and shifting preferences of today’s travellers.
“While we have a strong footprint in the UAE, reflecting the nation’s commitment to promoting tourism and hospitality, we are also expanding our presence in international markets, delivering our homegrown competencies to high-growth markets.”
Emaar Hospitality Group announced earlier this year that it will be launching six new hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Egypt as part of the company’s ongoing global expansion plans.
The group currently has 28 upcoming projects across several markets in the pipeline, including the recent launch of the Address Fashion Avenue hotel in Downtown Dubai.
The hotel will comprise 167 rooms and will mark the company’s 12th Address project in the city.
