Bahrain is set to host its first international hospitality & restaurant expo at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre during March 21-24, 2018.

The Bahrain Hospitality and Restaurant Expo (BHRExpo), created by Culinaire & Beyond, is being held with the Kingdom’s government support and the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, prime minister of Bahrain, and under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Isa Bin Ali Al Khalifa.

The four-day expo will begin with a culinary tour, with the forum set to take place on March 22. The event will also offer a regional culinary competition managed in partnership with Rosario Scarpato, a chef and CEO of The I Factor, a Hong Kong-based company specialising in events design and management, integrated communication and high quality multimedia productions. Its divisions are specialized in gastronomy, food and beverage, hospitality and tourism. Scarpato stated that he hoped the competition will attract chefs in both standalone and hotel-based restaurants from across the GCC.

Supporters of the event include labour fund Tamkeen, the Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
