Samantha Kumara scoops four awards at Emirates Culinary Competition

Samantha Kumara of Gloria Hotels & Resorts won four awards at the Emirates Culinary Competition.

Participating in a competition with chefs from across GCC, for the third consecutive year, Kumara bagged the ‘Best Kitchen Artist’ title.

His skills were awarded in all four art categories he participated in. Leaving the competition with a gold medal in chocolate carving, a gold medal in open showpiece, a silver medal in live vegetable carving and silver medal in live ice carving.

Kumara joined the Gloria Hotels & Resorts team in January 2015. He also participated in the IKA Olympic Culinary Competition in Germany where he won three silver medals.
