Park Inn Muscat awarded two Omani employees, Hassan Al Wahaibi and Majid Al Balushi, as ‘Employees of the Year,’ an annual award that recognises pursuit of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Al Wahaibi works under the health club department while Al Balushi works in the kitchen department. Both awardess have been working at the hotel since 2011.
The criteria for the annual award included going the extra mile towards helping guests and co-workers, being a team player, taking personal responsibility and contributing towards hotel profits among other things.
Radisson Muscat, Park Inn by Radisson Hotel and Residence Duqm cluster general manager Nuno Neves said: “Hassan & Majid have been nominated by members of the management team who noticed their outstanding contribution to the hotel. They were chosen by the category for their ability, attitude, efficiency and initiative shown during the past year.”
Neves further added that Omanisation, a policy from the government that aims to increase job opportunities for Omani nationals, is a priority for the hotel and encourages Omanis to enter the hospitality industry.
"We believe in promoting our staff from within and we are committed to develop each employee to their full potential,” Neves said.
