Nightlife venue 1 Oak to open in JW Marriott Marquis Dubai

Bulldozer Group has partnered with New York's Richie Akiva for its latest venture, 1 OAK Dubai.

1 OAK is set to open its doors at the end of February 2018 in the JW Marriott Marquis located in Dubai’s Business Bay district.

The opening will feature a line-up of international artists and will see many of its celebrity fans travel to Dubai specifically for the launch. Since its inception in 2007, the 1 OAK brand has had famous guests pass through its doors including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Madonna, Katy Perry, Kanye West, Rihanna, Kate Hudson and more.

"It’s essential to keep evolving and stay on our toes. With this Middle East expansion, we are not just thinking of nightclubs, we are thinking of hospitality in the deeper sense of the word. 1 Oak Dubai is monumental for our brand," said Akiva, founder of 1 Oak, in a statement.

Bulldozer Group founder and CEO Evgeny Kuzin added: "The growth of the nightlife industry in Dubai over the past five years has been phenomenal.
