W Dubai – The Palm has launched its search for The W Music Curator ahead of the brand’s launch on the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai in 2018.
Music is a key passion for the brand and an integral part of the W experience, according to the job role the hotel has released.
The press release adds: "The music experience is brought to life in our marketing activations, through our digital and social channels, and most important, as part of the guest experience in W Living Rooms/W Lounges around the world. The W Music Curator role provides an opportunity for us to place greater focus on elevating this experience on-property, in an authentic way."
The key responsibilities will be developing a long-term sustainable approach to activating the "Passion Point of Music" at the property level. Having a greater understanding of the local music scene, this role will oversee and drive energy behind music at the property on a day-to-day basis.
High-level responsibilities will include managing music programming (such as DJ sourcing and scheduling), assisting with W Happenings planning, and being the face and voice of the hotel’s passion for music.
