Dubai's Barasti Beach Bar launches its own radio station

Dubai’s Barasti Beach Bar has launched its own radio station – claiming to be the first outlet in the Middle East to do so - giving people the chance to listen to a mix of the venue’s favourite tracks as well as live performances from DJs, local acts and Barasti’s house band, Sweet Chilli Jam. 
 
The Barasti Beach Radio app is available from the App Store and Google Play and has already been downloaded more than 5,000 times.

Playing 24 hours a day, Barasti Beach Radio offers a broad mix of the latest hits and dance classics, along with live streams of Barasti’ s party nights.
 
"Barasti has always been known for its eclectic mix of music – from laid back, blissed out tunes on the beach during the day to incredible performances by the likes of Jazzy Jeff, Toploader, Duke Dumont amongst others, so it was a logical step for us to create an app that no only allows you to listen in Barasti but Barasti fans can take us with them wherever they are," said Derryn French, director of marketing at the Mina Seyahi Complex, in a statement.
