InterContinental Hotels Group has opened Crowne Plaza Riyadh – RDC Hotel and Convention Center, which is the seventh operating IHG hotel in Riyadh and the 31st in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The 326-room hotel is located in the Al Ra’idah Digital City (RDC), a mixed use district that is expected to accommodate over 20,000 employees and up to 10,000 residents. RDC is now welcoming multinationals, technology companies, government agencies, and many of the new ventures which are participating in the National Transformation Project 2020. Additionally, Crowne Plaza Riyadh – RDC Hotel is in close proximity to the new financial district, the Riyadh CBD, King Saud University, Diplomatic Quarter and lies within 25 minutes of King Khalid International Airport.
The Crowne Plaza Riyadh – RDC Hotel and Convention Center offers a comprehensive range of facilities to meet the needs of corporate and MICE guests. The hotel features over 12,000m2 of exhibition and conference space including a three-level circular conference centre, a ballroom, large pre-function areas and 12 daylight meeting rooms.
The hotel also has a large outdoor swimming pool and outdoor tennis court, along with a health club. An on-site business centre is open 24 hours a day.
Its F&B includes: an all-day restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner that seats more than 500 guests; two speciality restaurants offering Japanese and Brazilian cuisine; and The Lobby Café or Indoor Tea Garden.
There are 412 Crowne Plaza hotels open across the globe with a further 84 due to open in the next three to five years, according to IHG's data as of September 30, 2017.
