Al Bustan Centre & Residence organized a free medical camp for its employees and visitors at the centre on March 8th as part of its responsible awareness program. The health check-up was done in association with Clinicare Medical Centre, a part of the Novo Healthcare group.
The medical camp was organised to foster health awareness in the company and to provide analysis to the employees and mall visitors. Visitors underwent routine health check-up which included calculating Body Mass Index levels and examining blood glucose level and blood pressure. Consultation with the doctor was also organised for free of charge. Through the program, 275 people were examined.
Commenting on this initiative, Al Bustan Centre and Residence CEO Moussa El Hayek said: "The aim to organise this health check-up was to encourage people to have a look at their current health status and serve as an eye-opener for them to incorporate changes to their lifestyle in case they are at the borderline of any health condition. It is often advisable to act on health issues earlier rather than later. In our industry, we have to undertake due diligence of our employees’ health to ensure safety of our other employees and especially of our esteemed guests. We will continue to support more such initiatives."
