The upcoming Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is targeting for an early 2020 opening according to its developer, RAK properties.
Inspired by resorts in Maldives, the property will showcase 300 guest rooms, suites and overwater villas, a first of its kind in the emirate. Situated in a secluded part of RAK, the upcoming property will overlook a mangrove-lined eco reserve and will feature a discovery and eco learning centre, according to a statement on the hotel company’s website.
For F&B options, the hotel will offer a specialty Asian restaurant and a seafood grill restaurant as well as a beach and pool bar.
A health club with gym, aerobics, yoga studios, squash and tennis courts; an outdoor swimming pool; kids’ club; Anantara spa and meeting spaces including a 1,200 sqm ballroom are also part of the planned facilities.
