Jumeirah Beach Hotel's 360 degrees to close permanently

360°, the popular nightlife destination with a rooftop bar at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel has revealed that it will be closing its doors permanently. The exact reason for its closure has not yet been stated.

The announcement of the closure from Jumeirah Restaurant Group comes at the same time as the hotel prepares to shut down in mid-May for five months for scheduled upgrades of the property. The hotel is slated to reopen again in October, 2018.

Known for its location and events, 360˚ first opened in 2005 in Dubai offering guests 360 degree views of the sea as well as an up-close view of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel.

The venue, which also underwent a refurbishment a couple of years ago with changes to its staff and management, has not yet revealed the exact reason for the upcoming closure. However, 360° stated through its Instagram page that it plans to be “going out in style” with more details to come.

Commenting on the venue’s 13-year-long run in Dubai, Jumeirah Restaurant Group general manager Emma Banks thanked guests for their continued support saying, "the sun is setting on 360˚ in its current form".

"I would also like to thank our entertainment partners: the DJs and artists of both local and international acclaim who, with the 360˚ brand, changed the shape of the Dubai nightlife scene for over a decade," Banks added.

After 360˚’s closure, another outlet is said to take its iconic place, according to a report by The National.
