After a year-long renovation, The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul is now ready to welcome guests.

The rooms, suites, conference halls and ballroom have completed renovations, with a redesign inspired by the shapes and colours of historic Istanbul.

The rooms and suites are decorated with authentic local motifs. Portuguese architect Patricia Pina completed the interior design of the rooms and suites, while the ballrooms were redone by Turkish architect Hakan Yürüoğlu.

"We have renovated our hotel to reflect the rich history of Istanbul and connect it with the rich Middle Eastern traditions,” said The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul general manager Nicolas Kipper.

The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul now features 243 renovated guest rooms, including 23 suites and 57 club rooms. A greater number of connecting rooms give privacy for larger families, while corridors have also been redesigned to provide a ‘small flat’ feeling.
