Hyatt to open second Jordan hotel in summer 2018

The opening of Hyatt Regency Hotel in Aqaba, Jordan, marks the second Hyatt hotel in the country, joining Grand Hyatt Amman. The hotel is centrally situated within the Ayla development, and has a golf course, retail outlets and the Ayla marina.

“The key location of the property within the Ayla Oasis is set to open many doors for us in the market, given Aqaba’s ever expanding tourism sector from the regional and international markets”, said Mohammad Labban, general manager of the hotel.

Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla will have 286 rooms inclusive of 32 regency suites, four executive suites, five family suites, one prince suite and a royal suite.

The hotel also has three swimming pools, an adult only infinity pool, family pool and a kids’ pool and the spa has six treatment suites, hydrotherapy pool, yoga garden and Turkish Hammam. It will also have 970 square metres of meeting space including two pre-function areas, four meeting rooms, one boardroom.
