Crowne Plaza Dubai appoints director of engineering

Crowne Plaza Dubai has appointed Shailesh Kumar as the new director of engineering.
 
Shailesh Kumar brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry across hotel projects within the Marriott and the Oberoi group of companies in India.

His most recent position was as director of engineering at J.W. Marriott Mumbai Sahar, a 585-room property, the largest of the Marriott properties in India.

He began his career as an engineering technician with The Oberoi’s Trident in Jaipur in 1997 and grew through the ranks to director of engineering in 2008 at the Goa Marriott Resort. He has worked in numerous hotel projects from pre-opening, operation through to renovation.
