Dubai bans shisha in Ramadan tents during Iftar

Dubai Municipality has banned the use of shisha in Ramadan tents during Iftar, which begins from the moment the canons are fired till about 9pm. 

Gulf News reports that the move is to ensure the health and well-being of families, children and the elderly who can be adversely affected by the heavy smoke that often fills the tents.

This ban will cover all venues in Dubai that fall under the municipality’s jurisdiction.
