The Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi appoints new executive chef

The Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi has appointed Guillem Pla Camps as the executive chef to lead 18 Degrees and the hotel’s catering operations.

Camps, who brings a more than 20 years of culinary experience to his new role, first started in Spain and carries influences in cooking through various kitchens across the world including Barcelona, Cannes, Bahrain, and Andorra.

In his new role, the Spanish national plans to elevate the 18 Degrees concept into a fine casual dining experience, with focus on creating menus that highlight locally grown and sourced ingredients.
