The Ramadan sharing fridges is back again for the third time this Ramadan and according to its Facebook page, there are 100 registered fridges already in operation across Dubai.

The concept gives access to food and drinks to people who may struggle to get them otherwise. It started as a Facebook page in 2016 and it now has almost 28,000 members.

The initiative, which is licensed under the patronage of the Emirates Red Crescent and Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), started on the first day of Ramadan.
