Fusion for thought

Culinary experts have taken Madrid by storm, as one of the biggest epicurean events on the calendar returned to the Palacio Municipal de Congresos de Madrid for the seventh year running.

Madrid Fusion 2009, which ran over four days in January, hosted some of the world’s highest profile chefs including molecular gastronomy master Heston Blumenthal.

The event attracted restaurants from the Americas, Europe and Australia, who showcased their offerings and opinions on culinary matters throughout a series of colourful tasting events, conferences and debates.
