Copthorne Hotel Dubai has finished implementing an AED 2.5 million (US $680,000) refurbishment at the four-star property as the hotel celebrates 10 years of operations this year.
The upgrades include expanded floor space at the Horizon Health Club and new cardio and strength training equipment by Cybex. Plans are in place to offer additional classes and services such as yoga and personal fitness training in the coming months.
Alfresco dining is now available at the on-site f&B outlet, Crystal Restaurant. A patio has been added to the exterior of the restaurant that can seat up to 20 guests.
In addition, two new chillers were installed to replace the older equipment which is approximately 23% more energy efficiet, reducing the hotel’s carbon footprint, a statement said.
Copthorne Hotel Dubai general manager said: “Having turned 10 this year, we are dedicated to continue making improvements on the Hotel, while living up to our brand promise of providing the perfect balance of comfort, service and affordability to all of our guests.”
Earlier this year, the hotel had undergone a soft refurbishment of its 82 one- and two-bedroom suites. The next phase will see the refurbishment of the hotel’s 210 guest rooms, scheduled to be completed floor by floor, and centred on providing a practical and comfortable guest room, the statement added.
