London’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel, which is home to Dinner by Heston London, caught fire yesterday (June 6, 2018) just a week after completing an extensive multi-million dollar restoration process in its 115-year history.
A total of 36 hotel guests and 250 members of hotel staff were evacuated with singer Robbie Williams being one of them, a BBC report said.

The blazing fire spread to several floors but was extinguished by the London Fire Brigade (LFB). LFB noted that the cause of the fire is still not known.

This is not the first time the hotel has caught on fire. According to a report by CNN, the hotel, which was first built in 1889, had a fire that broke out and damaged the top three floors of one wing and destroyed a section of the roof. The hotel reopen to the public in 1902 as a luxury hotel.
