Rotana employee in Dubai celebrates 25th anniversary at hospitality company

Rotana employee, Suresh Babu, has completed 25 years at the Middle East based hospitality company. Babu started his hospitality journey in 1993 as a technician and part of the pre-opening team of Beach Rotana, the first Rotana hotel.

His first supervisory role was in 1999 at Sharjah Rotana and in 2000 he was assigned to take the role of assistant chief engineer in Al Bustan Rotana Hotel and then moved to Jumeira Rotana Hotel as chief engineer. He got his big break in 2010 when he was appointed chief engineer and lead the pre-opening Engineering team of Centro Sharjah. He is currently the director of engineering at Rose Rayhaan Rotana and celebrating his silver jubilee at the company.

In total, Suresh Babu has been part of four hotel pre-openings and has worked in seven different hotels at Rotana.

Commenting on the achievement Suresh Babu said: “Looking back, I personally feel that under experienced and capable leadership this company has been stable, strong and holds life values as its moto which is very important and a big reason why I just happen to love what I do and feel that I am in the right place.”
