Ascott makes senior appointments in the Middle East

The Ascott Limited (Ascott) has made a series of appointments within its Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) cluster to strengthen its senior management team and operations across the region.

Imane Guennioui joins Ascott as assistant director of marketing for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey.

Guennioui obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration (finance and marketing major) from the American University in Morocco - Al Akhawayn University in 2008.

Since then, she has acquired significant experience across the UAE in marketing, digital marketing and communications with various established hospitality brands in the region, including Emaar Hospitality Group.

Awad Hamed Saeed Alolyani is the new cluster assistant operations manager for Ascott Jeddah.

His core responsibility will be operations, as well as stabilising and growing the guest services teams across the Jeddah properties.

Alolyani holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management Degree from the University of Western Sydney (Australia) and has recently completed his Master of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Global Business School of Barcelona (Spain).

His hospitality experience spans being part of a pre-opening management team, front office supervisor, and privilege guest relations at properties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Ascott, a wholly owned subsidiary of CapitaLand Limited, has 23 properties across 12 cities (pipeline and operating) within the MEA and Turkey region, totalling more than 3,300 units.
