Tarkett, a multi-solutions flooring provider, is showcasing five of its product collections at The Hotel Show Dubai 2018 being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 16-18, 2018.

Tarkett’s business development management hospitality, EMEA division Michele Crociani said the products on display at the show reflect current hospitality trends such as customisation, sustainability, modularity and creation.

“With our product offerings, clients can really customise. Hotels really want to differentiate between their brands when compared to others in the market. Our offerings, which include carpets, rugs, cement-based tiles, can help customise guestrooms, corridors, and many such spaces in a given hotel,” Crociani said.

One of the new products on display is the Desso Sense of Marble carpeting. The product allows hotels to achieve the “classic look of marble, combined with the warmth and comfort of soft carpeting”. The marble carpeting is available in 10 different types of marble colours and patterns.

The company is also introducing Cement Click, a new category of premium mineral tiles and planks produced from 95% clay with a click system making for easy installation. The other products on display include iD Click Ultimate which are luxury vinyl tiles which are time saving and durable alternatives for stylish fit-outs. The iD Supernature and iD Tattoo are based on natural material s like wood, stones and concrete and is available in 16 shades. The iD Mixonomi, which won the Red Dot Award in 2017, is a modular vinyl flooring collection available in 34 colours and 11 shapes.

Historically based in Lebanon, Tarkett has been involved with several hospitality projects in the region but this is the first time for the furnishings company at The Hotel Show Dubai.

Crociani stated that through the company’s presence at the show, he hopes the company takes away new trends from the industry in the region and is “looking for partnerships and alliances to develop new concepts”.
