Antriksh Khurana, Area of Financial Controller, Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa
He initiated and implemented a custom-made cloud-based HR system for the resort. The system covers automation of hiring, separation, increments, promotions, attendance, overtime, live-out allowance and all other HR-related functions. Additionally, outsourcing of payroll, pay slip distributions and other accounting reports.
Tauseef Arif Abassi, Financial Accountant, Crowne Plaza Duqm
With a Masters degree in Business Administration, he started his career with Crown Plaza Duqm IHG on April 30, 2013 as an Income Auditor. During the span of 5 years, he has received extensive training in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payrolls, Cost & Inventory Purchasing section.
Meraj Siddiqui, Area Director for Finance & Business Support (Makkah & Madina Hotels), Dar Al Tawhid InterContinental
He has excelled in working capital management in all hotels under his jurisdiction through debt collection efforts. This resulted in payment of owners profit well in time and operators management fee payment up to date.
Nizar Derbali, Financial Accountant, Time Grand Plaza Hotel
Nizar Derbali joined Time Grand Plaza Hotel in 2013. He got promoted as Income Auditor/F&B Cost in 2017 and moved up to the position of Financial Accountant in 2018.
Serge Khairallah, Finance and Business Support Manager, Crowne Plaza Sohar
Serge Khairallah started his career as Assistant Accountant in Holiday Inn Beirut. During his career in Beirut, he completed training in all Finance Section then got promoted to Chief Accountant. In August 2014, he got the opportunity to become Assistant FBSM in Crowne Plaza Salalah where he handled the department for one year in the absence of FBSM. He was transferred to Crowne Plaza Sohar as Finance and Business Support Manager in August 2016.
Vasabha Perera, Revenue Manager, Dubai International Hotel
Through his long standing career of 12 years in finance, he has earned a reputation of having the ‘Midas Touch’ to turn any seeming challenge into a thriving solution, according to his entry. Early in his career, he understood the function of the revenue management and yield management, along with the demands of the associates and external associates.
Zakaria Siddiqui, Director of Finance & Business Support, Raffles Dubai
Zakaria has over 25 years of experience in finance and hospitality. He joined Raffles Dubai in January 2017 from InterContinental Regency Bahrain where he was the Area Director of Finance for Bahrain & Kuwait, for three years.
