Home-grown Middle Eastern chain Roadster Diner has kicked off its regional expansion plan with the opening of its first restaurant outside Lebanon, in Dubai Mall.

Franchise operator Cravia, which own the rights to Roadster in the UAE, is confident the Beirut-born brand will be a hit.

“People have waited a long time for the brand to make its way to the UAE and now at long last it is here,” remarked Cravia chief executive Walid Hajj, adding that the brand had already built up a significant following in Lebanon.

Plans are also in place for a stand-alone outlet on Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Road and another store at Jumeirah Beach Residence.

“We can guarantee the region will be seeing more of Roadster diner throughout the coming year,” said Hajj.

The latest addition to the brand looks out to Dubai Mall’s ice rink and follows the franchise theme of US popular culture, with a menu of Americana favourites including steaks, burgers, all-day breakfasts and homemade desserts.

Roadster diner joins Cravia’s extensive F&B portfolio, which includes Cinnabon, Seattle’s Best Coffee and Zaatar w Zeit.
