The H Dubai's Ibrahim secures a win at Hotelier Awards

The Safety & Security Person of the Year at the 14th Hotelier Middle East Awards went to Adnan Ibrahim from The H Dubai.

The judges felt that the winner of the Safety & Security Person of the Year Award has gone over and beyond the job description and contributed towards the hotel’s revenue and cost savings while still doing their job.

On the hospitality industry, Ibrahim said: "First, we are happy as locals to work in hospitality and especially since we directly face the tourists. And I would like more locals to be involved in hospitality and to help us grow the indsutry. We are locals, and we need more locals to be involved in the industry."

"I am proud to have won this award after working for 12 years in this industry, and it’s something big for me," he added.

Highly commended in this category was Crowne Plaza Duqm’s Haytham Moustafa.

The award was presented by Gavin Dickinson, head of revenue at ITP Media Group.
