Al Bandar Rotana, on the northern shore of Dubai creek, is welcoming guest chef Stefano Masanti to the hotel to oversee a special menu for the Italian Cuisine World Summit 2018.

Masanti is the founder of Michelin star winning restaurant Cantinone, which gained a star in 2008, and he will create a signature menu for the hotel’s Gusto Italian Restaurant as part of the 10th edition of the international showcase.

Dubai diners can enjoy his dishes from November 20 to November 22, with Al Bandar Rotana general manager Hussein Hachem saying: “Italian food remains hugely popular across the globe, and the Italian Cuisine World Summit 2018 will enable diners to enjoy an authentic taste of Italy right here in Dubai. Gusto Italian Restaurant has developed a reputation among diners as one of the finest the city has to offer, and we are thrilled to welcome an artisan of chef Stefano Masanti’s standing to our kitchen. Having him here with us at the hotel is sure to be a delightful experience for our guests and culinary staff alike.”

The Italian Cuisine World Summit 2018 will be presented in Dubai from Monday, November 19 to Saturday, November 24 under the auspices of the E.A.U. Italian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Dubai and the Italian Trade Agency. Previous editions have been held in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in addition to three roadshow events in China. Each has involved more than 200 Italian restaurants and 5-star hotels, 250 chefs with a combined total of 125 Michelin stars, and over 100 cooking classes for the public.
