Ascott Limited is set to open six hotels in Saudi by 2020

The Ascott Limited confirmed a total of six serviced apartments in the pipeline in Saudi Arabia slated to open by 2020.

The 2019 pipeline includes 135-key Somerset Corniche Jeddah, 172-key Ascott Corniche Al Khobar, and 290-key Spectrum Makkah by TAL.

In 2020, the company will open 139-key Somerset Downtown Al Khobar, 92-key Ascott Villas Riyadh, and 140-key Citadines Abha.

Besides expansion in The Kingdom, Country general manager, Middle East and Turkey, The Ascott Limited Vincent Miccolis told Hotelier Middle East in an earlier statement that the serviced apartment firm will continue its rapid expansion in the region.

A multi-pronged strategy is planned for the group’s expansion across all continents, whether through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, management agreements, or franchising, in order to contribute to reaching the goal of 80,000 units by 2020.
