Mahy Medhat joins Sofitel Upper Egypt

Sofitel Legend Old Cataract and Sofitel Luxor Winter Palace have appointed Mahy Medhat as the marketing manager.

He will be responsible for executing the hotel's marketing and PR objectives and strategies.

The Egyptian national holds a Master’s of Art degree in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester.

Medhat joins the hotels with 10 years of experience in the luxury travel and hospitality industry in the GCC, including within the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The Winter Palace is a five-star luxury hotel built in 1886 by British explorers and is located on the Nile River. The Old Cataract is one of the only five Sofitel Legend hotels in the world, a 19th-century Victorian palace in Aswan.
