Indian tourists favour Dubai as a destination in 2019

In 2019, Indian tourists are favouring travel to Dubai, Thailand and Singapore, according to Arabian Business.

Other places of interest in the GCC include Kuwait City, Manama and Oman. 

A number of travel and tour operators also revealed to Arabian Business that the entertainment parks, shopping opportunities and ease of visa procurement is leading to the interest in Dubai from India.

These insights are backed up by data compiled by Expedia Group from the third quarter of 2018, which showed that travellers from India showed the highest growth in demand compared to the same period last year (more than 60%). Additionally, the UAE is an easy destination to reach from India with more than 1,000 flights operating weekly between the two countries.
