The Caterer Middle East Awards 2019 are set to honour the region's food & beverage industry's finest, and the awards team is now awaiting entries from across the region.
In addition to popular categories including Chef of the Year - Hotel-Managed Outlet, Kitchen Hero of the Year, Restaurateur of the Year, Waiter of the Year and many more, a new category has been launched: Barista of the Year. This category will award someone who makes it a priority to stay up-to-date with current trends in their sector and customer preferences across the globe as well as in the local market. He/She can successfully demonstrate a strong knowledge of different coffee types and has shown creativity in drink creation and promotion.
For more information about the event, and submitting nominations, head to the official Caterer Middle East Awards website. Many of the 18 categories are open for hotel-operated restaurants to apply, except for where noted as 'independent' or 'standalone' categories.

The deadline for submitting entries is April 2, 2019, and the winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the JW Marriott Marquis on Wednesday, June 19.
