Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi’s restaurant Market Kitchen has a new chef de cuisine and restaurant manager at its helm: Jhon Faver Martinez and Ismael Sielinou.
Colombian native Martinez has been working in the hospitality industry since 2001, and has studied the culinary arts in France and Colombia. His experience spans kitchens in Barcelona, São Paulo and Bogota alongside chefs who have won Michelin stars, such as Albert Adria & Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
French-born Ismael Sielinou has 11 years of restaurant experience and has worked in the UK, Switzerland, Singapore and the Caribbean. Sielinou was most recently the F&B manager at Miami’s Edition.
A new menu has been launched for the restaurant by the new duo. The dishes are French & Latin with Middle Eastern touches, with influences from around the world, reflecting the new leadership's past experiences.
