Nobu Dubai appoints executive chef

French national Damien Duviau has been appointed as the new executive chef at Nobu Dubai, which is located at Atlantis, The Palm.

He previously worked at the same restaurant from 2010-2013 as a sous chef. He then made a move to the brand's Moscow outlet as its executive chef where he has been for the past five years.

He helped launch the sister restaurant, Nobu Crocus City in Russia.

In a statement, Atlantis, The Palm vice president of food and beverage Sascha Triemer said: "Damien’s return to the kitchen in Nobu also emphasises our belief in investing in our chefs, nurturing their talent and giving them the tools and support they need to grow their own careers. We look forward to seeing him help us make 2019 our most successful year yet."
