Abu Dhabi-based hotelier moves to Banyan Tree Phuket, Thailand

Banyan Tree Phuket has appointed Filipa Carvalho De Sousa as its director of marketing communications, as the resort gears up to celebrate its 25-year anniversary.

De Sousa has moved to Thailand from the UAE, where she previously served as director of communications at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. She has eight years’ experience in the luxury hospitality industry.

De Sousa will oversee the resort’s new digital marketing and social media strategy for Banyan Tree Phuket.
