Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the Middle East’s leading platform for tourism professionals and focal point for the region’s travel industry, will return to Dubai World Trade Centre for its 26th edition from April 28 to May 1, 2019.

ATM 2019 will build on the success of last year’s show, which was the largest edition in its history, welcoming almost 40,000 industry professionals and showcasing over 2,500 exhibitors with hotels comprising 20 per cent of the total floor area.

“This year we will be shining a spotlight on cutting-edge technology and innovation – with this theme being integrated across all show verticals and planned activities. A host of seminar sessions will discuss the ongoing unprecedented digital disruption, and the emergence of innovative technologies that will fundamentally alter the way in which the hospitality industry operates in the region,” says Danielle Curtis, exhibition director Middle East at Reed Exhibitions.

Brand new for ATM 2019 will be the launch of Arabian Travel Week:  an umbrella brand comprising four co-located shows – ATM 2019,  ILTM Arabia, Connect Middle East, India and Africa – a new route development forum taking place on the final two days of the show and ATM Holiday Shopper – a new consumer-led event taking place on Saturday, April 27.

“Once again, we are delighted to be working with our partners UNWTO and welcoming back the UNWTO Ministers Summit which will take place on the Global Stage on Sunday, April 28, 2019.

“Also taking place on the Global Stage, will be a seminar focused on Saudi Arabia’s tourism potential as the Kingdom undergoes rapid economic diversification and forges ahead with its Vision 2030 blueprint.

“Another debutant this year is the ATM Hotel Industry Summit, (Tuesday 30 April, 2019), with expert panels discussing the latest hotel developments, investment opportunities and digital innovation shaping this fast-moving industry,” Curtis added.

Following its successful launch last year, the ATM Student Conference, ‘Career in Travel’, will return on the final day of the show. Aimed at ‘tomorrow’s’ travel professionals and hoteliers, this programme will help provide a greater understanding of the industry and potential career paths.

Other popular features of ATM such as the Global Halal Tourism Summit, the Travel Agents’ Academy, Digital Influencer Speed Networking, ATM Buyers’ Club networking and the ultra-innovative Travel Tech Show will also be returning for 2019.
