Accor partners with Saudi Arabia’s OTA Al Tayyar Travel Group

Accor and Al Tayyar Travel Group’s (ATG) partnership will give the OTA access to the hospitality group’s portfolio of hotels

 

The hospitality group revealed that it will “provide ATG with direct access to real-time rates and availability across Accor’s portfolio of 4,800 hotels and resorts in 100 countries worldwide.”

Talking about this partnership, Markus Keller, senior vice president, global sales organisation for Accor said, “Our partnership with Al Tayyar Travel Group accelerates our growth strategy by cementing our presence as a world-leading travel and lifestyle brand in the Middle East, which is an increasingly important source of core business for Accor.”

According to the partnership, this will help Accor with more visibility and sales capabilities in major regional and international customer source markets through ATG’s online and retail channels.

Abdullah Al Dawood, group CEO, Al Tayyar Travel Group, said, “With over 90 million online sessions last year, we have the largest travel platform in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, which is why hotel brands such as Accor choose us as key regional partners.”

The agreement was signed by Markus Keller, senior vice president, global sales organisation for Accor and Abdullah Al Dawood, group CEO, Al Tayyar Travel Group at a ceremony, which took place at the Accor headquarters in Paris, France.

Accor will provide Al Tayyar Travel Group with real-time access to rates and availability across its properties, ranging from luxury names such as Raffles, Sofitel and Fairmont to premium brands such as MGallery, Pullman, Mövenpick and Swissôtel and mid-range concepts Novotel, Mercure, to ibis in the economy category.
