Dubai International Hotel and DXB launch package for in-airport overnight stays

DXB has partnered with Dubai International Hotel to launch a package for in-airport overnight stays.

Starting at AED 350 (US$95), the new 'Wake Up at the Gate' package means families don’t need to get to the airport early, but rather, late - the night before.

Aimed at travellers getting on early morning flights, the special package allows a family of four to check-in at Terminal 3 for their flight the night before, get through security and head into departures starting their holiday in a stress-free way.

Once checked-in to the hotel, guests can explore the airport, and play and eat. The room is accessible for up to 12 hours from check-in, allowing guests to get a good night's sleep before their flight.

The 'Wake Up at the Gate' package costs from AED 350 ($95) for a family of four (two adults and two children under 12), sharing a room for up to 12 hours in the Dubai International Hotel, Terminal 3. The price includes premium Ahlan meet & greet, access to the hotel’s facilities including pool and gym, a complimentary fruit basket, tea & coffee facilities and quick check-out. The hotel will even give customers a wake-up call and escort them directly to their gate in plenty of time for the flight. 

Dubai Airports director of brand Natthew Horobin said in a statement: "Ask any parent about travelling with children and they will say leaving plenty of time is essential. Ask any child and they will say going for a swim or a bounce on a giant trampoline, having dinner at a restaurant and an overnight stay at a hotel feels like the holiday has already started. It’s a great way to take stress out and add the fun and excitement of travel back in."
