Horeca Trade signs UAE distribution deal with Ferrero Gulf

Leading food and drink supplier Horeca Trade is set to boost its presence in the UAE foodservice channels by agreeing a deal with Ferrero Gulf to supply its brands.

Ferrero Gulf supplies international products such as Nutella, Kinder, Ferrero Praline and Tic Tac across UAE’s foodservice channels.

Horeca will be distributing its Nutella products across hotel chains, restaurants and cafes across Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.

Commenting on the distribution partnership, Ferrero said they would be able to benefit from Horeca Trade’s network and leadership to penetrate the local foodservice channels. “We are pleased to be teaming up with a company with such commanding market presence and superior standing in the F&B industry,” said Ferrero Gulf food service regional sales manager Simone Frizzi.

Meanwhile, Bidfood Middle East chief commercial officer Wael Al Jamil said the collaboration would expand Nutella’s reach among local foodservice channels.

This is the second agreement for Horeca in as many weeks after sealing a deal with GSP Foodstuff Trading LLC to distribute the rice producer’s Raj Mehak brand in the UAE.
