Jordan Marriott Hotels donates US$81,521 to King Hussein Cancer Centre

Members from the Jordan Marriott Business Council visited the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in late March 2019 to handover a donation of $81,521.

The contributions were a collection from numerous activities conducted by Marriott associates throughout 2018. These included the donation of vacation days, selling bracelets and organizing the ‘Spin For A Life’ event. 

The proceeds raised from these events, and others like them, will contribute in supporting the centre and the development of the KHCC’s new building. According to a statement, the KHCC team took the members on a tour around the facility to show them the state-of-the-art equipment.

The Jordan Marriot Business Council’s committees include members from general managers, executives to associates across all brands of Marriott International in Jordan: Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba, The St. Regis Amman, W Amman, Amman Marriott Hotel, Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, Petra Marriott Hotel and Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel.
