Signed at the end of last year, the unveiling of the hotel on Sheikh Zayed road marks the first voco in the Middle East.

Voco is inspired by Latin terminology, such as ‘invite’ and ‘come together’, and focuses on the informality and charm of an individual hotel.

IHG said they strategically located voco Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road as it is just 8km from Dubai International Airport, as well as being close to the World Trade Centre.

IHG's managing director for India, Middle East and Africa, Pascal Gauvin, said voco's first hotel in the Middle East would bring a vibrant and dependable guest experience to the region.

IHG added that voco Dubai would be within proximity to attractions such as Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa.

At voco, Dubai guests can take advantage of multiple facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool, a gymnasium and the award-winning Spa Zen. In addition, guests can enjoy a variety of cuisines including Lebanese, French and Indian.

IHG also revealed that voco will extend across the Middle East later this year, with an opening in Al Khobar.
