Jumeirah Group's executive chairman Gerald Lawless has conceded that the company may be forced to further reduce staffing levels due to current financial conditions.

Unfortunately companies like this will do as they please until the labour laws in the United Arab Emirates change. One would have thought that an international organization like Starwood has HR Policies & Procedures in place that would protect their employees against such discriminatory behavior...
